This place is so good. I could become addicted to their mole very easily. Everything on their menu that I have tried is wonderful, but it is the chicken mole that makes me crave their food.
If I could afford it, I would eat here or order from here every day. -

In a span of a few weeks, I visited this fantastic Mexican restaurant three times. Even then, I wanted to back again and again. From the spicy salsa to the great service, Habaneros is the real deal in NM.
You enter an establishment that could almost be someone's home. My group was greeted immediately and offered a on the house soup (which is surprisingly good).
I ordered the chicken mole. A dish I've gotten in Mexico. I had pretty high expectations, but the restaurant certainly met them. Not too sweet and very tender, the dish was perfect for a hot afternoon.
The restaurant does have an assortment of Mexican beers that pair nicely with the food. -

This place has some delicious mole! I used to come here with my friends when we were at NMSU and we really enjoyed coming here. Also Alfredo is a really nice man! Very friendly! I highly recommend it!

This is probably one of my favorite Mexican food in Las Cruces. I been here twice already with my family and they love this place. It reminds us of Mexican food culture in California. Love there enchiladas plates, carnitas and nachos plates. Prices are reasonable and great customer service. I like how you can choice your own chile and don't forget to check out their dessert menu is to die for. Plenty of space to eat indoors or outdoors and definitely coming back to taste some of the other plates.

I tried the fish taco plate Baja style. I got a nice salad beforehand. The plate came with two tacos but were of good size. The owner came by and checked on how I was doing. The fish had a tasty batter to it. The standard beans and rice came with the plate also. It was quite satisfying.
